Please save the date for the Allegany Arts Council's 3rd Annual Mountain Maryland Plein Air event, which will take place May 31-June 12, 2011 in Downtown Cumberland's Arts & Entertainment District and throughout Allegany County. The tentative schedule of activities for the 2011 Mountain Maryland Plein Air event is as follows:
May 31: Welcome Dinner for Participating Artists
June 1-3: Artists paint throughout Allegany County
June 4, 5-8PM: Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony
June 5-12: Artwork remains on display in the Saville Gallery
