May thru October, the F. Brooke Whiting Museum hosts tours on the 2nd & 4th Friday & Saturday of each month. Tours are given at 2PM & 3PM. Groups of eight to fifteen may schedule tours at other times.
Brooke Whiting amassed his collection of art from world traveling, worldwide associations with prestigious antique dealers and auction houses, and through inheritance from his sister Anne Whiting, his life partner Wesley Griswold, and his parents Brooke and Ruth Whiting.
His incredible collection includes primarily Asian Works of Art and American, British, and European Decorative Arts. Brooke had eclectic taste and collected artwork from around the globe. His collection has pieces from America, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, India, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Russia, and Mexico.
