The Arts Place at Puccini Gallery will be celebrating a Grand Opening on Saturday, June 30, from 11AM-8PM. Refreshments will be provided and prizes will be awarded. Stop by and see beautiful art and maybe you will win a prize!!!
The recently opened gallery is an eleven-member non-profit organization of local and regional artists, located on the property of the Puccini Restaurant, located at 12901 Ali Ghan Rd. NE in Cumberland, MD. The gallery will be open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 11AM-8PM.
Founding members are Nancy Biggs, Deana Cohen, Margie Gacki, Jeanne Gibbons, Stacie Hettel, Mary Kammauff, Joy Sanders, Richard Shuck, Ginger Squires, Linda Stewart and Steve Sullivan.
The gallery will feature 2-D wall art including photography, collage, watercolor, and acrylic paintings as well as 3-D pottery, jewelry and other gift items.
The mission of AAP is to promote the visual arts by providing a venue for local/regional visual artists to exhibit and sell their original work. Artists who would like to apply for membership may contact the gallery at 301-777-3126 for further information.
