Guitar Gathering 07/21/2012
On July 21 from 3-4PM, a Guitar Gathering workshop with Rob Wallace will be held at Tri-State Community School for the Arts. Gather round for this beginner-geared gratis guitar workshop! We'll be going through the basic anatomy of the guitar, how to tune and restring, and learn some simple melodies, chords and strumming patterns. Bring your guitar or borrow one of our loaners- this workshop is open to everybody regardless of experience.

Did you know that the arts are a critical component to a complete education and are proven to increase student academic achievement? Research has found that organizations that center activities around the arts enable the youth who attend their programs to improve their academic standing, increase their abilities in self-assessment and motivation, and raise their sense of the importance of planning and working for a positive future for themselves and their communities. At Tri-State Community School for the Arts, we believe that our students are capable of having a positive impact on our community, and we seek to empower them through creative and positive thinking skills, and by allowing them opportunities to shine through acting, music, and painting.

Tri-State Community School for the Arts- Nurturing the creative spirit in our community.
