Join the Allegany Arts Coucil, the New Day Campaign, and AHEC West as we present Healing of the Heart.

The Event.

A healing event featuring information about and experiences with mindfulness, massage therapy, trauma-sensitive yoga, and other integrative health practices.  

The event features the Bluegrass band Day Old News performing at the McCoury Family Stage (around the corner from the Allegany Arts Council) from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, with a healing fair-like experience taking place inside the Allegany Arts Council 2:00pm to 3:30pm, where one may engage in healing offerings and view the exhibition Resilience: Healing What Ails Us Through Strength, Tenacity & Fellowship.

A presentations with a line up of speakers, music, and interactive experiences begins at 3:30pm inside the gallery. The event includes a range of resource tables for support services related to behavioral health.
