Storm clouds? A dark forest? Dangerous, clifftop footpaths? The more you look, the more you see--one reason I like this one.
One thing I see is The Adventurer, with staff in hand, who must find a way through these perils (bottom right, just left of the dark corner).
This is from a collection called "Duets"--abstract photo art that only has two tones (foreground and background colors), enough to define shapes, but nothing more. Everything darker than some value in a photograph becomes one color, everything lighter becomes the other, so a Duet extracts existing patterns and shapes. But it has to be more than a simple silhouette. A Duet suggests some vague abstract concept, which I try to identify in the title by using a single, broad abstract term.
