From Baltimore, MD
(2¼ Hours) Take Interstate 70 West to Interstate 68 West to Exit 43-C. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right on to Harrison Street, and then take a quick left on to Centre Street.
From Washington, DC
(2¼ Hours) Take Interstate 270 North to Interstate 70 West to Interstate 68 West to Exit 43-C. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right on to Harrison Street, and then take a quick left on to Centre Street.
From Pittsburgh, PA
(2¼ Hours) Take Interstate 79 South to Interstate 68 East to Exit 43-C. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left on to Queen City Drive. At the first traffic light, turn left on to Harrison Street. After two blocks, turn right on to Centre Street.
From Hagerstown, MD
(1 Hour) Take Interstate 70 West to Interstate 68 West to Exit 43-C. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right on to Harrison Street, and then a quick left on to Centre Street.
From Morgantown, WV
(1¼ Hour) Take Interstate 68 East to Exit 43-C. At the bottom of the ramp, turn left on to Queen City Drive. At the first traffic light, turn left on to Harrison Street. After two blocks, turn right on to Centre Street.

Where Should I Park? Downtown Cumberland has two large parking garages. One is located on S. George Street (across from the Holiday Inn) and the other is located off of Frederick Street (near City Hall Plaza). Rates are reasonable. There is also parking available for shoppers at Value City Shopping Center off of Queen City Drive, in the Pershing Street lot, and at Canal Place on S. Mechanic Street. There's also plenty of on-street parking in designated spots. Walking is the quickest, and easiest way to get around Downtown Cumberland. So find a parking spot, get out of the car and enjoy a stroll around town.

Where Can I Get Cash? There are Money Access Center (MAC) machines located at First United Bank & Trust on Harrison Street, First Peoples Federal Community Credit Union on S. George Street and at Canal Place, M&T Bank on Baltimore Street, and Susquehanna Bank on S. Liberty Street.

Where Can I Find a Good Place to Eat? There are lots of great places to eat in Downtown Cumberland and throughout Allegany County. Many establishments also offer outdoor dining during the wamer months. For a complete list of dining options, please follow this link to the County Tourism web site.
