Becoming a member of the Allegany Arts Council is an important first step in helping us to build A Community Alive with the Arts! Your annual membership fee enables the Arts Council to provide financial and operational support to a wide range of artists and art organizations throughout Allegany County. It also provides us with the financial resources necessary to operate and sustain our organization, and to develop new and innovative arts programming for children and adults across our community.
In addition to providing you with a wonderful way to get better acquainted with the many artists and art lovers in Allegany County, your membership in the Allegany Arts Council also entitles you to a number of valuable benefits, including:
Weekly Arts Flash e-mail announcements about upcoming art events, activities and opportunities;
The Arts Connection, our bi-monthly electronic newsletter filled with all kinds of information about “arts happenings” in our area;
A 10% discount on purchases of artwork from the Allegany Arts Council’s Saville Gallery (a 20% discount during the Annual Members' Exhibition!);
Use of the Allegany Arts Council's Community Room at discounted rates;
For artist members of all types, a free web page listing (with an image, your bio, and contact information) in our on-line Artist Registry;
Special discounts from participating merchants, and at participating performances and art events throughout the community with your Membership Card;

Individual membership in the Allegany Arts Council is open to everyone! You don't have to be an artist to join. And, you don't have to live in Allegany County. Dues are payable on an annual, calendar year basis (though you are welcome to join at any point during the year) and membership is available at a variety of levels:
