Individual Membership Information

Becoming a member of the Allegany Arts Council is an important first step in helping us to build A Community Alive with the Arts! Your annual membership fee enables the Arts Council to provide financial and operational support to a wide range of artists and art organizations throughout Allegany County. It also provides us with the vital financial resources necessary to develop new and innovative arts programming for children and adults in our community.

In addition to providing you with a wonderful way to get better acquainted with the many artists and art lovers in Allegany County, your membership in the Allegany Arts Council also entitles you to a number of valuable benefits, including:

• Weekly Arts Flash e-mail announcements about upcoming art events, activities and opportunities;
• The Arts Connection, our bi-monthly newsletter filled with all kinds of information about “arts happenings” in our area;
• A 10% discount on purchases of artwork from the Allegany Arts Council’s Saville Gallery (a 20% discount during the Annual Members' Exhibition!);
• Use of the Allegany Arts Council's Community Room at discounted rates;
• For artist members of all types, a free web page listing (with an image, your bio, and contact information) in our on-line Artist Registry;
• Special discounts from participating merchants, and at participating performances and art events throughout the community with your Membership Card;
• Exclusive mailings, announcements and invitations to upcoming art events/activities and opportunities;
• The satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to sustain and grow the Arts and the arts community in Allegany County!

Individual membership in the Allegany Arts Council is open to everyone--you don't have to be an artist to join! Dues are payable on an annual, calendar year basis and membership is available at a variety of levels:

• Student Membership: $10/year
• Senior (65+) Membership: $10/year
• Individual Membership: $25/year
• Family Membership: $35/year
• Sponsor Membership: $50/year
• Patron Membership: $100/year
• Life Membership: $1,500
