Now is the time to join or renew your Allegany Arts Council organizational membership for calendar year 2013, and help to support the arts in Western Maryland (and the surrounding region). Your organization’s support through its annual membership dues helps to keep the Allegany Arts Council financially strong and enables us to continue to provide operational and promotional support to the many non-profit organizations in our community. Organizational memberships run from January through December (though you may join at any time), and are available at two levels:
A Basic Organizational Membership ($30/calendar year) entitles your non-profit organization to:
Operational support for such things as event ticket sales, mail collection, equipment loan, marketing & promotional assistance, and much more!
An Advanced Organizational Membership ($50/calendar year) also entitles your organization to:
All of the benefits above, plus the privilege of using the Allegany Arts Council’s non-profit bulk mail permit for your organization’s mailings. USPS requirements state that your organization must have Federal Tax-Exempt Status in order to take advantage of this benefit. Paperwork indicating your organization’s tax-exempt status must be provided to the Arts Council office.
