Hadra Scholarship Fund The purpose of the Allegany Arts Council's Hadra Scholarship Fund is to provide small monetary grants to individuals residing in Allegany County who are in need of financial assistance to pursue an interest or an experience in the arts. A committee of five community members considers these applications on a quarterly basis. Funding for the Hadra Scholarship Fund is made possible through individual and corporate philanthropy. Special Project Grants Allegany Arts Council Special Project Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations that have a "special" opportunity to produce a new arts-related activity or event in Allegany County. The Allegany Arts Council board of directors considers these applications at its monthly meetings.
