The Allegany Arts Council invites you to “Explore the Exhibition” of the 6th Annual Allegany National Photography Competition and Exhibition with photographer and Frostburg State University professor, Robert M. Hein. Hein’s discussion will lead-off with an exploration of juror selection and how it leads to the differences seen in chosen bodies of work, moving directly into an in-depth look at the photography itself.

About Robert M. Hein
Robert earned his BFA in photography from Ball State University, and his MFA in photography and media studies from the University of Cincinnati. He currently lives in Frostburg, and is the photography program head in the visual arts department at Frostburg State University. His work has been in exhibits nationally and internationally, as well as juried competitions, private collections, and solo exhibits. He has won Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Awards, and has spoken at exhibits in the
Washington County Museum of Fine Arts and the Allegany Arts Council.
