2020-10-03 2020-10-31 America/New_York Brad Blair - Obscure Oddities: Clay Creations

Join the Allegany Arts Council and Saville Gallery as we welcome Baltimore ceramics artist, Brad Blair, for his solo exhibition, Obscure Oddities: Clay Creations, from October 3-31, 2020.

Blair is an artist, educator and gallery coordinator. In 2014, he earned an MFA from Florida State University in ceramics and sculpture. Prior, he graduated from Towson University with a BS, majoring in art and design. Today, Blair is an adjunct professor at Towson University, coordinates gallery operations for Harford Community College, and teaches ceramics at Baltimore Clayworks and The New Phoenix Pottery.

This series explores Blair's sense of creativity, imagination and patience as he builds detailed sculpture monstrosities to open the mind into a different and otherworldly reality, the unknown.

A Public Opening will take place Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 6-8PM. The event is free and open to the public.
