The Allegany Arts Council and its Saville and Schwab Galleries are proud hosts of the 2023 Members Exhibition to take place June 24-July 22, 2023.
The Members Exhibition is a longtime fixture of the Allegany Arts Council annual calendar and supports the individual creativity of our most important people, YOU! This special month features the Arts Council's Annual Meeting, a special members-only celebration and the juried Members Exhibition with cash prizes!
Who is eligible to participate?
All members of the Allegany Arts Council in good standing are eligible to participate in the Members Exhibition. All entries should be submitted through the below form and the fee to enter is $10.00 per member. Entries are due by Friday, June 9, 2023.
What can be entered?
Participating members may submit one (1) framed piece or a single 3D work or A/V piece. Framed art dimensions may not exceed 38” wide, including frame. 3D pieces may not exceed a footprint of more than 38” square. The entry form requires upload of a digital image for use in our digital gallery.
Members who wish to submit another art form may do so – poetry, prose, video and/or film can be accommodated – please contact us for specific arrangements.
Artwork may be dropped off at the Allegany Arts Council from June 9-17, 2023, or if shipped, should arrive during that timeframe. Shipped works must include a pre-paid, return label.
All participating artwork must be available for sale – members receive 80% of the proceeds of sales. Members wishing to purchase artwork may also do so at a 10% discount for this exhibition only.
