Join the Allegany Arts Council and 2020 Allegany National Photography Competition & Exhibition Best in Show winner, Douglas Schwab, for the next in our photography series, "Capture Moments: What's New in iOS14 Photography", a workshop to take place Thursday, January 14, 2021, from 5:30PM-6:30PM via Zoom.

About the Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn what's new or what you might be missing in iOS14 photography.

If your phone is able to run iOS14, most are, you will learn about the latest features which have been added, including updated features like Night Mode, app startup shortcuts, new camera settings and a few new ways to view your memories. Participants will want to upgrade to the latest version prior to taking the class. 

About the Instructor

Doug Schwab has been involved with technology in one way or another since the early 1970’s.  He is an early adopter and has been using Apple products since 1984 when the Macintosh 128K was released. In 2007 when the first iPhone was released he was right there, learning and sharing with others about how to use the technology.  Doug has been teaching iPhone and Macintosh OS classes since the early 2000’s.  Professionally, Doug was Chief Information Officer for S. Schwab Co. and Ralph Lauren Childrenswear. His work expertise included Global IT Operations, and he acted as the system & application architect. Doug’s work in planning, developing, implementing and training included working with the Executive level to the user level on the shop floor.  Doug is also a scout leader for Troop 89 BSA for Scouts with Special Needs and works with Scouting on a local, Council, Area and National levels. He also does volunteer work for many Cumberland non-profits.
