Charlene Nield - The Art of Happenstance: Chance Meetings & Destined Friends

The Allegany Arts Council and its Saville Gallery are pleased to announce the artistry of Alexandria, VA-based artist, Charlene Nield, with her exhibition, "The Art of Happenstance: Chance Meetings & Destined Friends," to take place May 1-29, 2021.

About the Artist

Charlene Nield is an acrylic painter who resides in the Washington, DC, area. Her work is primarily representative and figurative with some abstract elements. Fan describe her work as funky, eclectic, and colorful. Nield participated in our 2019 exhibition focused on the human form, "Make Me Blush."

Nield is a member of the well-known Torpedo Factory Artists Association in Alexandria, VA, and her work can be found in the Foundry Gallery in Washington, DC, Gallery 75 in Alexandria, VA, and the Mosaic Gallery located in Fairfax, VA.

A Public Opening is currently scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2021, dependent upon COVID-19 gathering restrictions. A digital gallery of her work will also be available.
