Levitt AMP Cumberland Music Series Presents Airshow

Wednesday, July 3 • 7:00PM • Free

The Allegany Arts Council is pleased to present the fifth show of the 2024 Levitt AMP Cumberland Music Series featuring Nashville-based jam band, Airshow!

Airshow is a high-flying, Nashville-based jam band featuring a unique contrast of familiar acoustic and mind-bending electric sounds that transports listeners from a campfire picking-party to the outer reaches of the multiverse.

Formed by longtime friends Cody Chelius (Mandolin / Vocals) and Steve Gallagher (Guitar / Vocals), the group’s lineup was completed with the addition of Bill Baker (Bass/ Vocals) and John Rodrigue (Drums/ Vocals) in 2016. While each member has different musical influences, it is their shared passion for exploring uncharted sonic territories that has propelled their ascension to the top of Nashville’s jamband scene— and they won’t be landing anytime soon.

Having released two studio albums ‘Shimmer’ (2021) and ‘Up in the Clouds’ (2019), as well as two EPs, ‘Anubis’ (2020) and ‘Lightbulb’ (2017), Airshow has started sharing live recordings of recent shows from all across the north and southeast. The band has their navigation set in all directions, so keep your eyes peeled for the one and only Airshow in your town soon!

All Levitt AMP programs are free to the public. In 2024, we will also have a Kids Zone area as well as beer and wine sales onsite. Food partners will be announced as they become available.

The Levitt AMP Cumberland Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, which exists to strengthen the social fabric of America. It partners with communities to activate underused outdoor spaces, creating welcoming, inclusive destinations where the power of free, live music brings people together and invigorates community life.

In 2024, the Levitt AMP Cumberland Music Series is working with local community and mission-oriented organizations to highlight and support their transformative work. We welcome the Frostburg State University PAWS Pantry  as our non-profit partner for this event and invite participants to visit and bring an item to support their efforts.

The PAWS Pantry at Frostburg State University provides food and necessities to FSU students at no cost. The Pantry aims to decrease the impact that food insecurity has on the academic success of our students through hunger alleviation and increased education in the areas of personal budgeting, nutrition, and wellness. We are asking attendees of our July 3 show to bring an item on the list to show support for these needs.  A complete list of items can be found here:

Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsors - Community Trust Foundation and Fairfield Inn - Cumberland, as well as Diamond sponsors, Faith, Hope, & Images and the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.
