Emily Fisher
Emily Neville Fisher is an award-winning and published photographer. She earned a BFA in Fine Art from James Madison University, a master’s degree in Arts Administration from New York University, and completed the Track program at the International Center for Photography in New York City. Her photograph ’65 Mustang received First Place in the 2025 LensCulture Portrait Awards. She lives in Westchester, New York, with her husband, three children, and an ever-growing menagerie of animals, including a dog, snake, chickens, ducks, and geese.

It’s still there!
I told you.
Don’t worry,
No one’s home.
They’ll never know.
Feel how smooth
This wax job is,
I’ll bet it took all day.
You can see yourself!
“Don’t”! They shouted
As I scooted inside.
Touching the steering!
My heart starts to pound.
Nodding at them they get in too.
“Just don’t…
break anything I shout!”
There’s laugher at the bar
I nearly fall off the stool.
“Remember that day
We skipped school and
Almost stole that 65’ Mustang?”
But…
Somehow…
It was enough to just sit inside.
