Arts & Entertainment

The Arts & Entertainment District of Cumberland is one of 28 districts designated by the Maryland State Arts Council aimed to develop and promote community involvement, tourism, and revitalization through tax-related incentives that attract artists, organizations, and other creative enterprises to towns across the state of Maryland.

In 2020, the Cumberland Arts & Entertainment District launched its first logo and video supporting the work of the A & E, and recently completed its first project, painting and providing signage for the City Center Parking Garage, located on George Street, identifying on each floor activities that support theatre, dining and other attractions which can be found within the A & E district boundaries.

In addition, we are in the process of building a brand new website to support the district’s work, which will be found at www.cumberlandaande.org.
