Artist bio: Andy Duncan’s short fiction in the science fiction/fantasy/horror field, broadly defined, has received a Nebula Award, a Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award and three World Fantasy Awards. His other writing honors include an Individual Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Science Fiction Research Association’s Mary Kay Bray Award for criticism. He occasionally acts in Cumberland Theatre and Frostburg State Theatre & Dance productions, and for 16 years and counting has played the role of an English professor at Frostburg, where he coordinates the journalism minor.
