Artist bio: I describe myself as a landscape/nature photographer and an abstract expressionism artist, although occasionally I enjoy creating strong, vibrant colors often in a non-naturalistic way inspired by fauvism art. With photography, I love immersing myself into the historical culture of the areas that I am photographing. In 2017, my interest expanded from photography to creating two-dimensional art. Art has given me the ability to experiment in all different mediums: oil paints, oil pastels, acrylics, watercolors, color pencils and photographic digital artistry. In an effort to enhance my skills I continue to attend workshops and attend art classes. Continuing education provides opportunities to start on projects, ability to study master artists, introduces me to new software and exposes me to professional artists /photographers, thus receiving art critiques. I continue to explore new ideas and techniques in pursuit of creating interesting art.
