As a self-taught artist, he has learned how to use photography for his creative self-expression and to transform from looking to seeing. He attempts to create images that bring the viewer into the subject by documenting textures and tonal qualities. Over time, Brian has discovered that not only is it essential to produce a beautiful image, but it is through this process and the state of being creative that joyfulness comes to him as an artist.
