Artist bio: As a glass artist, I am captivated by the ever-changing relationship between light and color. Glass, with its inherent transparency and ability to refract, reflect, and transmit light, is the ideal medium to explore these dynamic interactions. My work spans mosaics, fused glass, and stained glass, allowing me to express the fluidity of light in unique ways. In my mosaics, I create intricate patterns that shift and change as light moves across them, transforming the viewer's experience depending on the angle and time of day. Stained glass pieces celebrate the vibrant colors that emerge when light filters through them, casting playful, colorful shadows into surrounding spaces. Fused glass, with its sculptural qualities, allows me to experiment with layering and texture, inviting light to dance and interact with the materials.
