Artist bio: My name is Jennifer Lynne Ziemann and I am an outsider artist living in the bewitching Allegheny Mountains of Western Maryland. It is fortuitous that I share space with my artist husband. His kind humanity has become a muse to my work. I work in mixed media, assemblage of found pieces, acrylic paintings, poetry, and any type of artistic endeavor that fills the spirit with mindful intention and that which distinctly embraces impermanence. Oftentimes inspiration comes from my dreams giving new meaning to the conception of "visual art". I enjoy using bright colors in juxtaposition to subject matter; giving the viewer a choice in interpretation. Creating is akin to breathing. I do so because I must.
