Artist bio: Currently watercolor pigments fascinate me as they interact and granulate and the color moves in its own collaboration with my ideas. I like people, watercolors, fiber and dye, the way the land lies flat or snuggles around me with hills or soothes me with the rhythm of ocean waves- all the variables that make individuals and communities both similar and different. Bringing that wide ranging mish-mash (I also like words) into some arrangement of visual art enchants me at the same time it energizes me. I enjoy the outreach of sharing the resources that I have gathered over time, as well as the opportunity to bring into my own comprehension the intrigue of all that surrounds me.
