Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area during the vibrant 1970s, I developed an early passion for both the arts and sciences. I later moved to Washington D.C. to pursue formal education, ultimately earning a degree in Computer Science. For twelve years, I quietly honed my craft behind the lens, capturing imagery purely for the joy of visual composition.

Following pivotal mentorship and encouragement from the late acclaimed artist Michael Platt, I transitioned from private practice to public exhibition. Today, I collaborate with my wife under the collaborative team name Wa Papo, creating mixed-media art that seamlessly integrates my photography with her creative work.
