I am a macro photographer of flora and fauna, capturing fleeting and poetic conversations with life measured in millimeters. My work is rooted in the diverse ecosystems of Appalachia’s Allegheny Mountains, centered in my certified wildlife habitat and native garden, my “Living Studio,” where I document the daily life cycles of plants and insects and have recorded over 500 species. In 2025, I was awarded the Silver Pangea Prize at the Siena International Photo Awards in Siena, Italy.

Since 2022, I have received more than a dozen distinctions, including
recognition from Smithsonian Magazine, International Garden Photographer of the Year, Natural History Museum, National Wildlife Federation, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, with publications in The Wild Lens Magazine and All About Photo Magazine.
