Joe Williams
I am a recovering engineer aspiring to create images worthy of more than a moment’s consideration. Through photography, I explore the possibilities of analog and digital tools to create an image conveying a thought, emotion, or vision I cannot otherwise express. Common image components are geometry and symmetry, contrast of form and light, shapes of people or structures. Many of my images present a scene in an unconventional manner, using composition, lighting, and digital manipulation to reveal something that exists, but could not be seen without the camera at the center of the process.
I am a member of The Artist’s Gallery in Frederick, MD. Other examples of my work can be seen on my gallery membership page.
