The Allegany Arts Council receives approximately one-third of its annual funding from grant awards made possible by the Maryland State Arts Council, Allegany County, the Cities of Cumberland and Frostburg, and other organizations. The remainder of the funds are obtained through membership dues, corporate sponsors and donations, and entry fees for juried, national competitions.
