I am a metalworker working out of Western Maryland. I have been selling my work professionally for 13 years primarily through Fine Art Shows and other in person events. I like connecting to the customer through conversation and allowing the interactions to become feedback for my future work.
Metal is an interesting medium as it becomes flexible under heat, and can crack under pressure. It can patina with time and age. It mimics how we as people exist in the world and I find that appealing. It is a challenge to find interesting ways to work with the metal day to day, but new skills always add challenge and a spark to the making process.
