I am a Washington, DC based artist whose work traces the relationship between memory, place, and identity. Through portraiture, I preserve the histories embedded in neighborhoods, landscapes, and everyday spaces that shape who we are. The streets, rivers, and changing cityscapes of DC become vessels for stories of migration, resilience, and belonging. My work reflects on how environments hold the echoes of those who came before us, carrying both personal and collective memory.
