Graduating with BFA/MFA in sculpture, I took the fork in the road and chose a military career. With a combined career of the in military and federal civil service and my art on the back burner, I pursued my art passion. Combining my roots as a sawmiller and seamstress/quilter’s daughter and my childhood attraction to red mud, I draw upon my roots, creatively, and to give back in assisting others in finding their therapeutic healing through art.
