We strive to provide opportunities for local artists to earn a living from creative endeavors. We believe that arts and culture are a key component to economic revitalization and without working artists, our community is less vibrant and attractive to visitors and new residents.

Public Art

The Maryland State Arts Council is accepting a Request for Qualifications for two public art projects located in the new Education & Health Sciences building at Frostburg State University. The project is a part of the Percent for Art program in the state of Maryland, requiring a percentage of capital budgets for state building to be purposed towards public art development.

Independent Artist Awards
