Allegany Arts Council announces winners of
9th Annual Allegany National Photography Competition & Exhibition
CUMBERLAND—The Allegany Arts Council announced the winners of its 9th Annual Allegany National Photography Competition & Exhibition on Saturday, April 1, during a public opening and awards ceremony. Juror Todd Tubutis, Director of the Art Museum of West Virginia University, selected winners from an outstanding selection of photographs. Prizes were awarded in the categories of color, monochrome, and photography as sculpture.
Steven Edson’s photograph, A Sense of Place, was named Best in Show. Edson is based in Arlington, MA.

2nd Place: I Can't Breathe, Sandra Chen Weinstein, Lake Forest, CA
3rd Place: Fairview, Denise M. Oehl, Hudson, NY
Photography as Sculpture
