Allegany Arts Council presents Cloth-Metal-Art
CUMBERLAND-- The Allegany Arts Council will present the joint exhibition, Cloth-Metal-Art, featuring the work of artists Peggy Black and Dustin Davis. The exhibition will be on display in the Arts Council's Saville Gallery from November 13, 2021 through December 4, 2021. It will also be available for online viewing on the Allegany Arts Council's website.
A full-time textile studio artist in rural Pennsylvania, Black makes vibrant, original wall quilts inspired by color, value selection, and abstract patterning. Davis, a sculptor and professor emeritus in Frostburg State University's Department of Visual Arts, creates colorful sculptures from metal.
A Public Opening will take place Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 6:00PM-8:00PM, and is free and open to the public.
