The Allegany Arts Council is excited to announce the 2nd Mountain Maryland Film Festival, scheduled to take place November 7-8, 2025!
The festival organizers have selected the theme of “community” for this year’s festival. We wish to celebrate the power of storytelling and togetherness at the Mountain Maryland Film Festival, where local voices and global narratives come together on the big screen.
Join us for a program of inclusive and inspiring films, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences that highlight the strength and spirit of community.
We are proud to partner with the Embassy Theatre to host this exciting weekend of films and fun!

6:00 p.m. | Welcome then screen "Spotlight on Thriving Communities: Part 1)" non-juried shorts by Stone Lyons Media
6:30 p.m. | Screen "Spotlight on Thriving Communities: Part 2" non-juried shorts by Vibrant Image Productions (Dave Romero / Meg Romero)

Please Note: Students with a student ID enter free of charge. Additionally, if a ticket is not bought in advance tickets will be $15 PER NIGHT (Meaning that attendance on both days is $30 instead of $25)
