The Allegany Arts Council is pleased to announce the next in its creative series aimed for adults ages 55+. Join us Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 3:00PM-4:30PM as we find our inner dancing queen or kind with Jitterbug Movement Studio owner, Kendall Ludwig. This fun class is open to all skill levels and will teach basic disco-inspired choreography in a creative session which will get your heart pumping and your lips smiling! No white suit required.
What is Young at Art
The Young at Art program is made possible by the generous support of the Community Trust Foundation and the donors who support Allegany County through creative and arts-based funding. The program encourages the never-before-artist to try a variety of artistic and creative experiences as a way to introduce them to the arts, perhaps for the first time. Research shows that aging adults benefit from regular creative expression, experience less anxiety and better sleep, and live more fulfilling lives.
